Prepare is an acid pre treatment that neutralises negative charges within the hair and establishes optimum conditions for subsequent Elumen treatments. More often than not, highly damaged, bleached or highlifted hair is over-oxidised and therefore carries an excessive negative charge, as does freshly bleached hair due its excess alkalinity. As a result, these types of hair find it more difficult to take on the negatively charged Elumen color pigments.

Always use Elumen Prepare in place of a conventional conditioner to neutralise the hair after bleaching and in certain cases as a pre-treatment for very damaged, bleached or highlifted hair. 1. Apply Prepare to the towel dried hair (after bleaching) or the dry hair (prior to an Elumen treatment) and saturate thoroughly. 2. Do not rinse. Carefully blot and dry completely. Then apply Elumen color as normal.
