The 4 sections are not identical. Use the client’s natural or desired parting as a guide line for the front sections. This will prevent scalp staining of the desired parting.

Create 2 equal sections at the back of the head.

If you are working on very thick or very long hair, part the 4 sections once again to create 8 sections altogether.
